The following resolution regarding Nikolas Wildstar has been made by the Libertarian Party of Los Angeles County: Whereas Nickolas Wildstar was unanimously nominated for governor by the Libertarian Party of California in 2018, and many members of the Libertarian Party voted for him; Whereas Nickolas Wildstar has demonstrated that he is a valuable member of the liberty movement in Southern California; Whereas Nickolas Wildstar was an active leader in California's black lives matter movement; Whereas Nickolas Wildstar offered support to Stephan Clark's family in the aftermath of that tragic shooting; Whereas Nickolas Wildstar is a personal friend of many members of the Libertarian Party of Los Angeles County; Whereas Nickolas Wildstar has demonstrated he is an excellent father and role model to his young son; Whereas California's liberty community has benefited from Nickolas Wildstar's liberty activism; Whereas California's liberty community would suffer a great loss and great role model if Nickolas Wildstar were to be incarcerated; Therefore, be it resolved that the Libertarian Party of Los Angeles County recommends that Nickolas Wildstar be shown leniency by the Court and that his sentencing should not include any prison sentence or jail time.
